Do the Caminito del Rey for beginners
My Experience to do the Caminito del Rey is a level for beginners! This is a highly recommended route. I like to walk but I don’t consider myself an expert. I go for a walk to maintain my health for 3 x a week. I don’t usually do walking trips, I don’t participate in trekking groups or hiking groups.
I have decided to tell my experience for Almanatour, because as a guide and worker in the tourism sector, many clients and friends tell me that they want to do this hike, but they are not sure if they will be able to do it due to their physical conditions.
All who tell me that are healthy people, but who believe that the path is not within their reach.
Therefore I write this post, so that you are encouraged to come.
But a few years ago I saw some photographs of a place that caught my attention.
So I decided to do this walk. What most caught my attention was the height that I would be in that gorge . And I was afraid if I could keep up with the group. Well, everything has been very easy and the route very fun.
Feel the emotion of a bird seeing everything from above, but without having to carry out any risky activity. That same! Being almost 100 meters high in complete safety, walking on wooden walkways in the middle of a gorge.
Undoubtedly , the beauty of the path is in the route that is made in the wooden corridors walking and appreciating the views of the surroundings.
I would highlight some points that have personally caught my attention.
The first has been to see the tunnel of the trains that pass through there (we have seen 2!).
Then, the gorges themselves, seeing the eagles flying close to you is very beautiful, an incredible contact with nature.
The Crystal viewpoint balcony that is located at a point that seems like you are flying and you will be able to appreciate and feel all the greatness of the place.
And finally, the iron bridge that we have to cross (yes or yes) to finish the route. At your feet, you have the stream at your feet and the view of the Guadalhorce reservoir. It is really very pretty.
Our experience
It has been incredible. Since then I have returned with groups of friends 3 more times. And I intend to repeat a few more times.
