1.Tuesday: Home town – Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech airport and transfer with assistance to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Wednesday: Marrakech – Boumalne (Tinghir)
Full day tour of the second oldest of the imperial cities, also called “The Red City”. We will visit the Menara Gardens, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutubia and the Dar si Said Museum. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit of the souks and artisans’ quarters. We will arrive at the famous Jemaa el Fna Square with its permanent atmosphere. Optional dinner with show. Lodging.
Thursday: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora (380 km)
Departure to Ait Ben Haddou through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m altitude).
Visit of its famous Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site, which has served as a set for several famous films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Troy, Gladiator, Game of Thrones… Optional lunch. Continuation to Zagora through the Draaa valley. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Friday: Zagora – N kob – Tazzarine – Erfoud (300 km)
Departure to Erfoud with a short visit to the village of Tamgroute, known for its pottery center.
The route also includes the villages of Tansikht, Nkob, Tazzarine and Alnif with splendid pre-Saharan landscapes.
Optional lunch in Alnif.
In the afternoon, continuation to Erfoud via the village of Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Optional:
1) Camel ride in the dunes and return to the hotel.
2) Camel ride in the dunes, dinner and overnight in haima.
5. Saturday: Erfoud – Tinghir – Ouarzazate (350 km)
In case the previous night was spent at the hotel in Erfoud, we propose an optional 4×4 excursion to Merzouga to admire the sunrise over the sand dunes.
Then departure to Tinghir to visit the magnificent Todra Gorges, with rocks over 250 meters high.
Optional lunch in a local restaurant.
Continuation to Ouarzazate by the Route of the 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’gouna and the city of Skoura.
Brief visit of Ouarzazate on arrival. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
6-Sunday : Ouarzazate -> Marrakech (220 km)
Departure towards Marrakech via the Tizi N’tichka pass.
Optional lunch in restaurant.
Continuation to Marrakech.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
7-Monday: Marrakech – Departure.
At the scheduled time transfer to the airport ending our services.
