Itinerary:
1. Friday: City of origin – Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech airport and transfer with assistance to
hotel for dinner and overnight.
Saturday: Marrakech – Essaouira – El Jadida – Casablanca (480 km)
Early departure to Essaouira. Visit of the city loaded with the
Portuguese history with the first port of the city, fortified,
that still exists. Optional fish lunch. In the afternoon,
departure to Casablanca via the Atlantic road, with
stops in Oualidia and El Jadida.
Panoramic visit of El Jadida
(built by the Portuguese and formerly known as
Mazagan “Mazagão”) with the possibility to visit the Portuguese Cistern
. Arrival in Casablanca. Dinner and lodging.
3. Sunday: Casablanca – Meknes – Fez (320 km)
Visit of the economic capital: the district of Habous, the Palace
Royal, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the exterior
of the Hassan II Mosque. Departure to Meknes. Optional lunch.
Visit to Meknes, the capital of Ismailia with the longest ramparts
of Morocco (40 km), including the famous Bab
Mansour gate, the royal stables and the Jewish quarter.
Departure to the sacred city
of Moulay Driss (panoramic visit) and visit the Roman ruins
of Volubilis. Continuation to Fez. Dinner and overnight at
hotel.
4. Monday: Fes
The whole day will be dedicated to visit the spiritual capital: the
Medieval Medina with its “Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas”, the
Nejjarine fountain, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Mosque of
Karaouine, exterior visit only.
Optional lunch in a traditional restaurant
in the Medina.
In the afternoon, visit of the
souks and Fez Jdid. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
5. Tuesday: Fes
Transfer with assistance to Fez airport for departure.
