Discover the most emblematic ksar of all Morocco, scene of several movies and gateway to the desert, with our tour from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate.
Itinerary:
Departure time: Departure from Marrakech at 8 am from your accommodation.
Transfer to Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas (⏩travel time: about 3 hours ).
Crossing the High Atlas we will arrive at the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, scene of famous movies (Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile or The Mummy, among others). Free time for lunch.
After visiting the ksar, we will continue to Ouarzazate, gateway to the desert, where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourit, former residence of one of the most powerful governors of the region and today declared a World Heritage Site (as it is under construction). Only the exterior will be seen).
Finally, transfer back to Marrakech, leaving you at the door of your accommodation at approximately 20h. End of our services.
🕑Total approximate duration of the excursion: 13 hours.
If you can, we recommend you to do our 2 days tour to Ouarzazate, which is quieter and will allow you to sleep in a Kasbah inside Aït Ben Haddou.
