The city of Córdoba, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir and at the foot of Sierra Morena, was the capital of the Bética province during the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Córdoba during the Muslim era. The history of Córdoba has left us architectural wonders such as the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter, among others.

We will discover this wonder that became the headquarters of the Caliphate and has immeasurable historical and architectural wealth. We will visit on foot, the Juderia neighborhood, the Patios de Cordoba, the Roman Bridge and the ancient Mesquita. Where our guide will make your trip a magnificent tour through the history of Andalusia.
Starting from Seville, the expert guide will pick you up at one of the meeting points to head for Córdoba. On the way we will cross the countryside enjoyiing the fantastic views of Carmona. A beautiful medieval city that surprises all visitors. We will arrive into Córdoba about an hour and a half journey
Arriving in Córdoba, we will make a walking tour through the historic center of the city visiting monuments as significant as the Roman Bridge that allows you to cross the Guadalquivir River as it passes through the ancient capital of the Caliphate.
We will walk through the most significant streets of the city, passing through the old Jewish Quarter, the Royal Stables and the Cordoba Synagogue (closed on Mondays). We will also take a short walk through the famous and colorful Cordovan courtyards that will give us the opportunity to take wonderful photographs so we can keep the most beautiful memories of this excursion to Cordoba.
After visiting the historic center of Córdoba, we will take a short break to enjoy the cuisine of Cordoba following the recommendations of our guide or enjoy your own choice if you wish. There will also be free time in case you wish to make some purchases.
After lunch, and to put the finishing touch to our day of excursions, we will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1984.
There visitors will have enough time to enjoy, without haste, this wonderful architectural monument originally created for Muslim worship. That represents one of the main jewels of the historical and architectural heritage of Andalusia.
After our visit to the Mosque of Córdoba, we will return to the meeting point to get on our transport that will take us back to Seville, where we will arrive after having enjoyed a magnificent day of excursion having visited places of extraordinary beauty.
