What is the Rock Tour?

Rock Tour is the name given to the traditional visit of Gibraltar . Inside the Rock you can go through the tunnels in mini buses. It is an organized visit that Almanatour offers you in this excursion with the following itinerary : First stop at the viewpoint of the Pillars of Hercules , from where we will have magnificent views of the entire Strait and the African continent .
Second stop to visit the famous Cueva de San Miguel or Cuevas de Saint Michel and appreciate an incredible natural cave in the heart of Gibraltar with geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites . Afterwards we will visit the natural habitat of the famous Berber Monkey , friendly monkeys of Gibraltar , the only apes that currently live in freedom in the entire European continent. The visit takes approximately 1h30 and ends in the lower area of Gibraltar where you can stroll through its famous Main Street , full of shops that give Gibraltar the fame of a commercial center.

Excursion to Gibraltar from Malaga and Costa del Sol with Rock Tour visit and free time to enjoy Gibraltar.

After leaving Malaga and the Costa del Sol, we continue the route towards Gibraltar.

After arriving at the Gibraltar coach park, or at the border itself (depending on the traffic situation), the view of the Rock of Gibraltar begins, beginning with a route through tunnels and small cliffs over the sea that lead to the highest point South of Europe. Then starts the ascent to the Rock to reach the impressive Cave of San Miguel and the abode of the monkeys, the Barbary macaque lives freely within the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve, also known as Rock of Calpe or Mount Calpe .
