THE MOSQUE OF CASABLANCA IS A UNIQUE MONUMENT IN MOROCCO

Your visit is very worthwhile!

There is nothing comparable to this work of Arab architecture in all of Morocco

Casablanca mosque

Visit to the Hassan II Mosque

The Mosque is a marvel, built by the ancient king, Hassan II (father of the current King), it is the largest in the Arab world (only lost to Mecca) with a Minaret that can be seen from all over the city and built on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean is the only historical monument that is really worth visiting in the city.

The Hassan II Mosque is the only one that allows the entry of Christians or non-Muslims (12 euros the entrance) and at certain times a visit is made with an accompanying guide , where you know the underground part where the bathrooms are, the impressive main hall, and the architecture, which will really blow your mind.

Visiting hours They are on the official page of the mosque. http://fmh2.ma/fr/visite-de-la-mosquee-hassan-ii.html. Attention because Fridays are like Sunday and there is only one schedule.

If you travel to Casablanca in the hot months, look at your clothing, because you cannot visit it with a tank top, only with a normal shirt. No need to cover your head.

At the entrance you will have to take off your shoes, they will give you some protectors for your feet, like some plastic bags.

Taking into account the times of the visit to the mosque, arrive at least 30 minutes in advance and buy your ticket for the visit of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca at the same entrance. The ticket is sold at a box office right there. They ask you your language, since they separate the visits in Spanish, English, German, etc.
